YOUNG RESIDENTS CHALLENGED TO PUT THEIR PICTURE PERFECT SKILLS TO THE TEST!
The Rotary Club of St Alphege Solihull is once again teaming up with Touchwood to find the region’s top aspiring photographers, with its popular Young Photographer Competition.
Sponsored by Touchwood, the annual competition is open to full time students of Secondary Schools and Colleges within Solihull, up to the age of 18, and challenges them to provide an imaginative and artistic portfolio of three photographs based upon the theme ‘a different perspective’.
To enter, each student must liaise with their appointed teacher by the Rotary Organiser at their school and college to complete the entry form and submit their photography by Friday 23 February 2018.
The competition entries will be judged by a panel of experts and two winners will be selected from two age groups, Intermediate (11 to 13 years old) and Senior (14 to 17 years old). At all stages of the competition, each entrant will receive a certificate of participation and the winner in each age group will receive a £100 gift card, courtesy of Touchwood, as well as the opportunity to showcase their photographs in the centre.
Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “At Touchwood we are passionate about giving young talent within the Solihull community a chance to express their creativity, so we are thrilled to yet again support the Rotary Club of St Alphege Solihull’s Young Photographer Competition. We look forward to receiving all entries and seeing all of the developing photographic talent within the borough.”
