The Birmingham and Solihull Jazz and Blues Festival is one of the finalists in a public vote for the best music festival in the Midlands.
Solihull music lovers are being given the chance to vote for the festival in the Midlands What’s On Readers’ Awards 2017.
It is competing with Moseley Folk Festival, Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Lichfield Arts and Birmingham’s Slam Dunk Festival for the coveted award.
Last year was the first time Solihull took centre stage at The Birmingham & Solihull Jazz & Blues Festival, formerly the Birmingham Jazz & Blues Festival, which has presented more than 5,800 performers to 2.5 million people.
Solihull’s Jazz & Blues Festival performances were arranged by Solihull BID (Business Improvement District), which championed its new name to reflect the growing number of performances taking place in Solihull.
The open-air Mell Square stage was at the heart of the Solihull activity, with eight free shows over three days, accompanied with street food and a bar.
The Midlands What’s On Readers’ Awards 2017 feature 28 different music, arts and culture categories. To cast your vote visit http://whatsonlive.co.uk/readers-awards-2017
